taking liberties

To all you Po'boys and Po'girls,

I have taken the liberty of posting a well edited playlist of N'Arleans sounds - soul 45's that you have never heard, a few gems like the post-Katrina K-Otix track "George Bush Doesn't Care About Black People," a Tuvan throat-singing version of 'When the Levee Breaks,' songs of going to the river and having to leave its muddy waters, Bessie Smith for good measure, levee building prison songs in creole, and stuff I've been collecting. I've stayed away from the stuff you all know. This is meant to be the spillover sounds of NOLA.

here's to the mighty sazerac,

I assume this is sd? Did he swim through the Lower 9th Ward on his way to Central America when he was setting up revolutionary radio stations?
