Hamburg is so weird. Even the weird drunks leaving the red-light district by the Reeperbahn don't spit on the street or jaywalk or discard their butts anywhere but a municipal ashtray. Go to the bourgie gummy bear store by the KFC that looks like a castle and Mo-Wurst! And then go to the damn harbor museum! Finally, check out Lüneburg, Lübeck, and Schwerin, all a short train ride away. Lüneburg has a crane from like the 10th century, it is the coolest structure on the planet.
